EventCAT Provides Real-Time Interpretation Subtitles at AI × Global Health Cooperation National Assembly Seminar

The 'Briefing Seminar on AI × HEALTH Global Collaboration' seminar held at the National Assembly of Korea in March 2025 became an important forum for discussions on AI, healthcare systems, and governance. The seminar was hosted by Member of Parliament Chi-Ho and organized by Geneva-based non-profit organizations HealthAI and the Occupational Health AI Group. This seminar served as a platform where various global health and AI experts gathered to share their deep insights on AI and health cooperation.

In this seminar, speakers of various nationalities and languages participated to discuss AI and global health cooperation. To this end, EventCAT provided real-time interpretation subtitles in Korean and English, allowing participants to engage in in-depth discussions without language barriers. During the seminar, the speeches of the speakers were translated in real time and provided as subtitles on a large monitor in the National Assembly conference room. Thanks to this, participants were able to easily understand and smoothly communicate specialized topics such as AI, health technology, and policy discussions.

Existing international seminars had problems with securing interpreters, cost issues, and operational difficulties, but EventCAT proved that it can support real-time multilingual communication at global events regardless of location or size by providing real-time interpretation subtitles in more than 40 languages without additional operating personnel. In particular, since it can be used immediately using only the Internet and a laptop, it was possible to more efficiently support various international events, including the National Assembly seminar.

Regarding the management of events using EventCAT, Chi-ho Park Su-bin said, “I used AI interpretation for the first time at this seminar, and I was very impressed by EventCAT's accurate interpretation and reasonable cost,” and assessed that EventCAT will continue to be used at various events to be held at the National Assembly in the future.

This seminar was not just an everyday conversation, but a place that covered complex topics such as medical care, policy, and AI technology. It was an important example that proved EventCAT can also demonstrate expertise in the field of AI and global health cooperation. EventCAT also provides real-time translated subtitles at various international academic conferences and corporate forums, and has become a key tool to break down barriers to global communication and support smooth communication.
