Global AI Translation Infrastructure for VIP Events, EventCAT
The Key to Communication – EventCAT's AI Simultaneous Interpretation Solution.
In March 2026, the Maekyung National Vision Report, held at the Shilla Seoul to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Maeil Business Newspaper, brought together participants from various nationalities, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, and foreign ambassadors. As the event outlined visions and strategies for enhancing global competitiveness and advancing into the future amid the AI revolution, establishing a multilingual communication environment that could convey presentations in real time was critical. EventCAT supported the event by enabling attendees speaking different languages to comprehend the proceedings in real time and communicate seamlessly.

An International Event Planner’s Choice for Language-Barrier-Free Global Events
EventCAT has provided real-time AI interpretation and captioning solutions at various large-scale conferences—including the Busan International AI Film Festival (BIAIF), Builder Salon in Seoul, and AI SEOUL 2025—enabling audiences to view real-time captions on both large grand screens and personal devices.
Unlike previous events that typically displayed real-time captions in just one or two languages on a main grand screen, the Maekyung National Vision Report (commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Maeil Business Newspaper) required real-time AI interpretation in over 10 different languages for approximately 20 foreign attendees. In other words, it demanded a customized, multilingual operation tailored for a small group of VIPs. To solve this, EventCAT delivered real-time captions directly through individual tablets.

Flexible Global VIP Event Management, Even Without Grand Screens
Prior to the event, the EventCAT team placed individual tablets at the tables of foreign participants and ambassadors, configuring them to provide real-time captions and translated audio. Once the event began, attendees selected their preferred language on their tablets, allowing them to follow the presentations in real time through captions and translated audio. This enabled participants to fully focus on the speeches in the language most comfortable for them.

At this event, EventCAT demonstrated its ability to support real-time multilingual communication regardless of dedicated operating personnel, venue constraints, event scale, or the presence of grand screens, thereby offering exceptional operational flexibility while elevating the international event experience for VIPs. Connected to the internet via their tablets, participants were able to immerse themselves in the event, break through language barriers, engage freely, and fully absorb the lectures.
Global Events, Real-Time Communication Beyond Language Barriers
Given that the theme of the event was AI, the scholars' presentations contained a vast amount of industry-specific technical jargon; however, EventCAT was able to enhance translation accuracy through its "Glossary" feature. By training EventCAT on the speakers' presentation materials, proper nouns, and names of individuals prior to the event, even highly complex terminology was translated without error.

The Maekyung National Vision Report, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Maeil Business Newspaper, concluded seamlessly despite the diverse linguistic requirements of the foreign VIP participants.
